Another great story in the Navajo-Hopi Observer because tennies are provided into this area of the state.

Tennies for Tots recently started providing tennies for head start in Page, Arizona.  An audio piece and text about that effort can be found here  in the White Mountain Independent.

ALSO: We are in need of raffle and auction items for our Spring and Summer Events. About Tennies for Tots

Dear Community Partner

As you choose the organizations that you will support in 2023, please consider Tennies for Tots. Between 2015 and 2018, we went from being a community outreach program through the Good Samaritan Society serving just 150 children to over 1000 and in May of 2018, we became a 501(C)3 recognized nonprofit organization. In 2019, we were able to provide shoes, socks and other needed items such as coats, gloves, hats, back packs, children's books and blankets to over 1500 children in need. In 2020 to 2022, we've provided shoes and socks to preschool age children in 34 Head Start Centers throughout Northern and Central Arizona distributing over 3000 pair of new shoes and socks to those children and many others causing Many Little Happy Feet! Those who have benefited from our distributions are the children who attend the Head Start facilities from Prescott, to Page and beyond, including Prescott Valley, Prescott, Chino Valley, Paulden, Ashfork, Williams, Flagstaff, the Verde Valley and the White Mountains areas. Others served include those served by the Boys and Girls club in Flagstaff and Prescott, children in need at Bradshaw and Prescott High Schools/ Ki/lip School, Hope Cottage Women/s shelter in Flagstaff and those served by the Firefighter Angel Foundation/ the Paulden Foundation those who benefited from the PUSD Family Resource Center/ as well as individual families who have been affected by loss through fire/ flood or the loss of a family member.

Thank you for your consideration
